@Ferasbanna , did your husband end up getting his written offer and how long did it take after a verbal offer, in the same situation for 4weeks now

@ferasbanna, I just want to ask, during your waiting period, did you follow up with them from time to time or they just called you or emailed you with your offer letter?

The reason I'm asking is because my husband is also waiting for his offer letter to date. They gave a time frame of 2-4 weeks and it's now on the 2nd week +. He tried to ask status thru email from the HR Officer, but no reply.

I agree, I can't imagine why an airport employee would get QR travel benefits.

Actually, the signature of Mr. Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways is on my offer letter.

DIA is headed by Chairman of QCAA, so technically you won't be getting Unlimited ID50s/ID90s.

My offer had to be signed by the Chairman due to my grade level, and since he was out of the country...it took about 2 months...

I learned that there were lots of offers to be signed...

What position have you applied for?

The reason why I asked is that a relative of mine works for Kuwait Airways. He gets unlimited ID90's.

Although I will be working for the DIA, I thought that since Qatar Airways is the mother company, that this perk would be extended to all subsidiaries...

Going on a tangent, do Q-Companies all get the same benefits?

One more thing...

These discounts are on the TOP Price Bracket of the destination, not the competitive prices you see on websites and in sales offices.

Drsam, ID 50 means they get 50% off and ID 90 means 90% off.

Most Qatar Aiways staff get these tickets as they want. Buying ID50 gives more "security" of getting a flight, than buying ID90 - where more often than not, you are on standby and only get to board IF a seat is available.
