My Resident Permit + Wife's visa processing

Hi,

I am flying to Qatar on 2nd July and I have following queries:

1. I am landing on 2nd July. How long would my Resident Permit take? Ramadan is starting in mid July. Would it be processed before Ramadan?

2. Once my Resident Permit is ready only then can I sponsor my wife & kid. Keeping in mind that it'll be Ramadan how long her visa processing (in Pakistan) can take?

Your replies will be extremely helpful.

Thanks

Hmm. I surely was expecting it to be earlier than that. Guess I should be mentally prepared for a month for my own Resident Permit!

It will take approx one month to get your Resident permit done, once it is done you can apply for your family's visit visa, provided you have all the required documents attested by ministry of foriegn affairs(MOFA) here in qatar. To obtain attestation from MOFA, you shall be having related documents attested by qatar embassy in your country or your contry's embassy here in Qatar. The documents which needs shall be marriage certificate, your educational certificate, birth certificate (for children).

I very much doubt it would be finished by Ramadan. It usually takes about a month or more from starting the first steps.

My husband processed his Resident Permit for about a month since all the requirements were completed that include medical examination and fingerprinting. Then right after my husband got his resident permit, the PRO (Mandoob) applied for the family visa and it took about a week for the family visa issued. But that was 2 years ago.
