How to Obtain a Family Visit Visa

Hi all,

I'm going to join a company in Qatar for the duration of 3 months. During my stay I want my family to visit me. Is there anyone who can help me replying following questions? I would really appreciate.
- Can I get my family visit visa provided the fact that I have 3 months work contract in Qatar?
- If yes, What documents do I need?
- How long will it take to get a family visit visa?

As I'm not familiar with Qatar's living and visa process, so other relevant information would be beneficial for me.

Thanking you in anticipation!!

before submitting application for family visa u should attest your educational certificate and if u need to bring family then u must attest marriage and birth certificate of your kids.otherwise they will reject your application without attestation.

i know one place and they provided me gud service with reasonable rate.

for details u can go through their website:http://sheenservices.com/contact-us.html

Hi everyone, a real case of emergency.

I joined a company in Qatar 7 months back. I really wish to quit my job as I am getting better job offers in other firms. My contract is for 2 yrs. So it is evident that they will not give me NOC and i will be banned for 2 yrs. My husband is working here in Qatar. But his salary is too low to apply for a family resident visa. I wish to know if I resign my job and once the company cancels my RP, can I come back to Qatar in family visit visa and extend it for another 5 months. So we hope by the time, we can make any arrangements for family resident visa.

Please your reply is really valuable.

Can my husband apply for a family visit visa for my brother? and his sister at the same time? His sister is already married so they already diffirent surname. i cannot sponsor my brother since my salary is below 5kQR. Thank you in advance for your reply/answer.. :)

Visit visa Requirements..

1- fill a family-Visit-visa aplication form (online or at any typist for 5 qr) preferably in arabic

2- Passport copy of yours and your visitor's,

3- company letter stating

-your salary (must be >5.000QR) and

-that they provide u family accomodation (if not, provide no.4) and

-No objection from your sponsor that u bring ur family for visit.

4- Rental contract (stamped by baladiya?)

5- QR. 200 processing fee for each visa but in credit card, no cash

A- in case of a wife, attested marriage certificate

B- in case of children, attested birth certificate.

all the above mentioned for each visitor visa. so 3 visitors= 3 copies of ur passeport, 3 company letters, 3 visit visa application...

1. You can ask your sponsor (who brought you here) to provide the visa for your family as well.

2. Check with any Hotel which can help you to arrange a visa for your family.

All the best.

he cannot get family visit visa as he won't have an RP. He is coming for 3 months only, so most likely he will be on the business visa.

1- if u go to khalifa immigration departement, it is available with the typists there.

2- donno, never done it. but u can

A-

just pay them a visit at immigration in khalifa, go to building NO 1, first floor, where u will submit the application later, and ask the guys behind the counter if u can bring ur family in the first place (3 month contract), and the documents needed, and where to attest them from.

they are open from 6:00 am.

B- ask ur company's mandoob (the man who does the paperwork)

C- wait for someone in QL who knows. or ask it as a queation in Q/A section, but not on thursdays, friday or saturday since very few log on to QL on week ends.

Thank you! I appreciate your detailed reply.

Few questions from your answers:

1- Where can I find online application?

2- Where do I attest marriage and birth certificates? Qatar embassy in my country? or Foreign office of my country?

Thanks
