Does medical test is required for 17 years children for getting RP ?

My Family (Wife & Son) is arriving next week to Qatar for the first time under Residency Visit Visa. My son is 17 years old and please clarify whether he needs to undergo Medical test & Finger prints for getting Qatar RP ? I am under confusion because some guys are telling that Medical is required and some are telling that not required. Pleae clarify in this matter.

Maybe only chest X ray and physical. No blood tests.
