Hi,

what is the probation period for new employees in qatar?? if I sign a contract on first week can I leave the company if I did not like it for any reason or will I be stock for God knows how long?

I am sure there should be a Qatari Law regarding (probation/cooling period)? can someone provide me of an answer or a governmental website link?

i think its depend on your job offer, usually its 3 month but in other company is 6 month and will extend your probation period if you are not qualified. in my offer is 6 month and will extend until 1 years if not qualified. i hope it will help you.
