Painting Car with Technical Inspection Report
Am in due course of renewing my car registration.My front bumpers need to be painted but I ddont have police report for the same. There is dent and paint is off as the car got hit on the pillar in my parking area. I didn try to get the police report as I was busy with some personal issues. Can I get it painted if I get the technical inspection report instead without getting police report.

aaha....about EXPIRED istemara...go to madina khalifa MAROOR...when u enter u'll find some BROOKERS...dont worry they will take u to there counter and will charge u around 300-500 and ur done :P..i really dunno how they do it but im sure this will help you :P

To make the things worst even my ishtamara was expired few months ago. Kindly advice how can I get the police report without having valid ishtamara.
I think we got the same situation where I also bumped my car's fromt bumpers on a pole at a parking area. Just bring your car to the police station together with your istimara papers and ask the police to inspect the bumper so he can issue you a police report for painting. cost is 12 QR for the stamp and its not that much. took me only 5 minutes to get a police report and I was off to my car painter for some repairs. ;-)
You should always cover your own a**. Get the police report. A QR.1.00 stamp or huge fine and inconvenience - it's your choice.
as per the rules you must get a Traffic Police report; and then proceed to Painting Job (either on your own or via Insurance Company; provided of course your insurance is up to date). Otherwise you are putting yourself in the verge of a "serious" situation with the authorities.

As mentioned by Khallud5347189, go to muroor and get the report. Max you will pay Qr.2 as stamp fee. Don't risk yourself by doing something that is not legal, you will end up with big fine.
U need to goo to a Maroor ( POLICE STATION ) which is near by ur home 2 get a ACCIDENT REPORT PAPER saying that u hit ur car on POLE...
If they find ( POLICE ) that ur car is being re-painted or repaired with out POLICE paper they gonna IMPOUND your car...AS THEY ALWAYS KEEP PATROLING ova the garages :P so CHOICE IS URS :P :D btw HAPPY WEEKEND!
go to industrial area..some garage can do painting without police report. but try to check it first if the inspector will allow and approve it. if its only minor scratch they will allow it. as long as your technical issue for your car is OK, sometimes they may not ask you to paint the scratches anymore.
