Does anyone know how to process a visa for a friend who will stay at my home?

I tried the MOI website but their online visa form they ask for sponsor relationship and they only include family members or hotels but not friends. Does anyone know if is it possible at all for me as a single male with residence permit to sponsor a male friend coming over for a couple of weeks?

I would really appreciate any guidance since all these visa processes are really confusing and there doesn't seem to be a place or person with a specific process step by step :( really frustrating.

Why cant u bring him on a hotel tourist visa which will be valid for 1 month and u can get it in couple of days. As i know it will cost u 300 QR. Ask the travel agency (tourist travel bureau)on 44446655 and aks them abt tourist visit visa.
