Help about my working visa
I enter here in Qatar in visit visa my brother is my sponsor, now i got a job and signed a offer letter and they give me the copy of my working visa with their name as sponsor I'd already give the NOC of my brother to them, but after 2 months until now I'd realized that the salary system is not good because they give salary minimum of two months no fix date and I can't survive with that.
Now my question is:
I don't have Medical and Finger Print
I have my passport here with me
I don't sign any work contract just offer letter
all I have is working visa one visit only duration 5 moths
Can i find another job without Company NOC because its not valid right??? if yes!.. can I use the NOC of my brother again when i got my new job offer.????.
please help me friends suggest me other options because i really want to leave this company....
I came to qatar on work visa to qatar. after medical and fingering my RP was not stamped. i was given exit back to my country after 5 months. my work permit was cancelled by my company. can i re entry before 2 years on new work visa for a new company... pls advise

Hello Qatarisun, I was reading through your comments and advise which does make a lot of sense for me. I need help for a similar issue! Can you advise please.. I have entered to Qatar 2 days a go via a business visitor visa and have found that the company is giving me rubbish salary to survive here in Qatar.. I wasn't aware of salaries etc and costs living! So when I have spoke to some people who is doing same job on the same field an less experience told me that I'm in very low wage compare to them! I'm a British citizen an need some help please? Company is asking me to do medical test then fingerprint to issue me a PR. shall I do it or not? I was told if I do I'll stock with them otherwise I can leave the country then entre with a new visa obtained on arrival( visit)??? Please help ??
FORGOT?? are they crazy?
medical and fingerprint need for the RP, not for the work visa. Work visa must be stamped in your passport upon it's issuance, which it looks like has never been done.
Anyway, now it's clear that they "forgot" or most likely didn't know (this shows "professionalism" of this Company's employees)to switch your visa status, which is why you are still on the brother's family visa.
let your brother go to the immigration once again, and try to extend it for another month. If it isn't possible, you will have to exit Qatar on July 20st. And actually since Work visa isn't stampped into your passport, you even don't need a NOC from these weirdos..
I came Here April 22 using visit visa of my brother before 1 month I have my medical in medical commission for visa extension of two months only that will expire this coming July 20 which only maximum my brother said. Now I got my job offer last May 26 which I give my NOC,Diploma, passport and other requirements, after few days they give me a paper and they said my working visa entry before may30 up to nov. only which they said in their name already. but like what i said how can they transfer it without medical and Finger print and contract? now i have my passport because one time i need to go to one client and i need my passport to enter there until now I did not return it to them cause they also forgot it.
Hope this help
again. If your family visa has not been switched to the work visa, it means that you are still on the family visa. Work visa must be stamped into the passport or attached to the passport. If this has not been done, it means you are not a Work visa holder, even though it was issued for you.
Now. If THIS is a case, forget about a work visa, as it will be expired by itself in 3 months from the date of issue.
Now take care of your family visa. Since you have entered Qatar on this visa, this visa was valid for 30 days. In order to extend it up to 6 months, you had to undergo a Medical exam (has it been done)?
Anyway,if you say July 20st is a maximum validity of the visa (it will be 6 months since you entered Qatar?), you can do nothing but exit Qatar. But good news is that you don't need a NOC. Although you will need an exit permit from your current sponsor in case work visa isn't expired yet.
If i knew the situation in greater details, i could have advised better.
I don't know when you entered Qatar on Family visa. I don't know whether or not you have done your Medical for he family visa extension. i don't know for how long your family visa was extended. i don't know when the wokr visa was issued. which is why it's a bit diffilult to advise.
But the main point is to make sure whether or not you are on Work visa. And if NOT, to keep acting as if you are a Family visa holder, i.e. to track the expiry date and to exit qatar once it's expired. If by the time when you have to exit Qatar on family visa, your work visa is still valid, you will have to ask the Company for the exit permit.
You mean that I dont have to exit qatar because I'm not yet Transferred??? but my visit visa will expire this July 20, and I can't renew it because its already renewed it for 2 months which is maximum. Do you think I have to exit??
Ca you guys answer the fucking situations well..
As you are already transferred to your current sponsor I think its to difficult they may not give you your exit permit to exit then come back again for another visa. But if they will give you your NOC then its much better.
so hey listen, your status isn't switched yet. And although your work visa is issued, since iut's not stamped into your passport, you are technically still under your brother's family visit visa.
1. Make sure your family visa is still valid, to avoid penalty
2. Make sure you are not under Work visa yet (check with the immigration office, just go there and ask them! have your passport with you and copy of your family visa)
3. Do not give your passport to the company, otherwise they will switch your visa status to Work visa
4. Once you make sure you are still under family visa, keep looking for the job. Your work wisa will be expired in 3 months from the date of issue, and once you found a new job, the new company can obtain a new work visa for you upon expiry of your current work visa.
They Give me the printed copy of my visa from Moi.gov.qa I verify it and I found out that This type of visa is Work Visit Visa
so how do you know that you have a work visa? Have you seen a copy of it?
I have my passport with me and No work visa stamped on my passport or copy of it attached here. Mr. Qatarisun, only my visit visa departure and arrival date when i came here under my brother's sponsorship.
Mr.QS how many days can I come back when I exit Qatar when my brother get another visit visa again. Can I immediately come back or it will take time???
by the way, Albertdlreyes, is your work visa already stampped in your passport (or a copy of it has been attached to your pasport)?
LP, I don't understand why you keep arguing about the immigration laws, which obviously you have no clue about.
WORK visa was issued by the company, which he said he is not happy with!
And guess what, it IS possible to issue a work visa while the person is on the visit visa in Qatar.
You have being arguing about similar case just yesterday for few hours (Transfer from the business visa to the work visa)!
If your profession is Pirate, i don't argue with you on how to better rob or attack the ships in the sea. I am sure you are an expert in this. Right? So take my word, and benefit from learning based on my answers with regards to the immigration laws!
QS, he doesn't need a "working visa" if he is already in Qatar. Obviously being sponsored by his brother means that he is on a family visa or visit visa. I don't think his brother can give him a working visa.
LP, because ALL working visas a one visit visas.
Why people answer the questions if they have no clue about the correct answer??
blue.. it has nothing to do with the signed job offer.
Albertdlreyes, since your RP isn't stampped into your passport, you don't need a NOC from this company. But you need a single exit permit from them, then you have to exit Qatar (this way your current work visa will be cancelled), and to enter Qatar under the new entry visa, which can be either your brother's family visa again (new one), or new work visa from the different company.
You dont' have a choice even though medical and fingerprint not done but you said they already applied a working visa to you, they're already your sponsor and since medical and finger print not done all you have to do is find a company who can apply working visa same as what they did to you since you don't have yet an RP but later on they will require an NOC from your sponsor, hoping that you'll get an NOC from them..You can no longer rely to your brother because you have working visa from your sponsor..
Why did they give you a "working visa, one visit..." if you are already in Qatar? This kind of visa allows a one entry in Qatar within 5 months. You have to report to the immigration within seven days from entry. Then you proceed for an RP.
Since you had already signed the job offer (means you accepted the offer) and contract to follow...the you have no options. Also your brother had submitted the NOC - meaning no objection. That is life here in Doha,,,,dapat maging vigilant or smart sa pagtanggap ng offer. Wag magmamadali.
