Is there any cameras on the roundabouts?

I would like ask the members if there is now CCTV in Mid Mac Round about. Just an inquiry to members. Thanks

Normally drivers will obey traffic lights and no one like to pay fines but sometimes light is flashing yellow and you pay attention to traffic and it suddenly turned red and unnoticed and you go. This is confusing in a round about. Hoping authorities shall play consideration in this scenario.

it's hard to put cameras in the roundabouts especially if the traffic lights have no counters, placing traffic lights alone may cause accidents forcing cars to make sudden stops.

Should have used his mirrors. Better still , should have obeyed the rules .

they will be useless, since the cars usually pass the sensor line when the lights are flashing yellow.

they only can have any use if the lights only turn red and green.

the LC in my back keep on honking at me... he wanted me to go ahed in R/A even if it's red light...

If your friend beats the red light, then beat your friend til he turns red.

A friend of mine was Fined Qrs. 6000/- two months back when he jumped the red-light on TV Station R/A & Lakhwiya was unfortunately behind.

Well said. I was in Riyadh last week. exactly the same. people respect the lights where there are cameras. otherwise, its a free for all :O)

in TV & markhiya R/A, CID will always be there, in other r/a it depends on ur luck

think your friend is going to comply with the rules if you tell him it was discussed here??do you actually expect him to behave and follow the rules??

No cameras but their are police in plain cloths sometimes.

Not only is he breaking laws and hence a criminal but he is also endangering his own life as well as the life of many people around including his friends traveling with him!

As for your question, then generally there are no fixed radars around roundabouts but mobile ones maybe planted every now ans then in which case your friend is doomed!
