Need help to decide on a Doha offer

Hi, Am currently deciding on relocating from Singapore to Doha, based on an offer from a local IT company as a senior manager. 40k base, 14k housing, 3k travel or a car, 1.2k furniture, 75% kids edu, yearly family return tickets, don't know about paid leave, bonus based on performance between 4 to 8 months.

Am an Indian national, and have 3 kids aged 7, 5, 3

Would appreciate some inputs on

1. Is this package reasonable for a family of 5, with 2 grand parents living with us about half the year?

2. I don't really know about the grade levels but is this package commensurate with a senior manager responsible for about 60 to 80 million usd of business annually.

The main interest for us is to get to a change for a few years, get mid-east experience, and to broaden my experience from a career perspective. The money compares at about the same I am getting currently at Singapore, but I want to be sure I wasn't being short chAnged.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. Also, would like to make connections with others with kids of the same age group.

Thanks raven29, will see what can be done on the kids edu : i do recall them saying it's a standard company policy of 75%, but let me see what happens there

Thanks alexam, moving from SG is my biggest dilemma. The wife who is Singaporean is interested to experience another country/region for a few years, so she is sort of pushing me. I remain unsure - we we there mid July for a couple of days and 51deg C was some heat to bear.

Good perspectives. Much appereciated, would love to hear more from others as well, esp those with little kids.

Stay put. There's more life in Singapore. The climate is hotter. If you are getting the same salary so what is the point in coming here? You are already in a bed don't try to sleep on the mat.

Your package is very good, except for the 75% education for 3 kids. Education is very expensive here in Doha for international schools but for local Indian schools im sure you can afford it. With 12k housing allowance you can get a nice villa, with 3k car you can get a brand new cross over SUV in installment basis.
