Stunting

Last night, we saw a child (of maybe 10 years old) riding a quad bike on Mesaimeer Road. He was travelling in the midst of the traffic on two wheels with no safety gear on at all. It was really shocking to me to see that any parent would allow their child to use or have what is an adult vehicle and risk their lives and the lives of others. Has anyone else seen anything similar in Doha? Is this normal?

quad bike for kids = land cruiser for youths. No rules apply.

lol i like how you put it..some one will now comment on how they will soon be responsible citizens in speeding and flashing land cruisers haha..but yeah jokes aside, i hope you're right..they are kids and are just being kids; hope they or others never have to pay for their mistakes..the ones in my incident were truly adorable boys

toyota signal..9pm..going through at the speed limit.. light is green so not really expecting trouble..feel a slight rub or bump on my door in the middle of the intersection..check in the mirror..two kids on a quad bike..no lights on the thing..stopped right where i passed a second ago..stop my car in disbelief and walk over to the kids who are still stopped there as other cars drive round them..turns out their fuel ran out and they were coasting dead through the intersection when my car rubbed on their wheels..they were at least well mannered kids and sincerely apologized and asked me to take them to fuel up..which i did..i also promised to run them over if i ever saw them again in that situation..still get shivers every time i think about what could have been..god bless us all
