Beware of Hyper market Cashiers
I shop from these hyper markets almost daily. Most of the staff is either naive or thief. The guy who put the things in the shopping bags often mix up your purchased things with someone else.
Sometimes you may be charged with an item you didnt buy and you didnt even get the item.
Sometimes your purchased item might carried away with someone else trolley.
Be very vigilant at the counter. Dont get pushed by the man behind you and do not get in hurry to start putting your things on the counter. Let the first guy finish his stuff. Believe me knowingly or unknowingly some cashiers steal in one way or another.
cashiers are the ones stealing your items??? that is impossible! you think cashiers can take home their stolen items??? you should be responsible for your own items.. they are also putting a bar/barrier up to how many are your items.... you have to open your eyes wide, gosh!
which market is this? name plz
Sounds like someone left his pack of expensive razor blades behind. Man is that infuriating when that happens. They are so small and hide themselves under the carrier bags on the counter as they slide down. And I was packing the bags myself when that happened to me.
Hey mistakes happen. Calm down and don't call every one of these hard working under paid cashiers with one of the most boring jobs in the world a thief.
Blaim is a wrong spelling , it is really blame
"The guy who put the things in the shopping bags often mix up your purchased things with someone else. "
"Sometimes your purchased item might carried away with someone else trolley."
How does that happen ? Surely ,you are standing right there aren't you ?
Yeah, one time I saw a cashier carrying two full bag loads of groceries they were so big and heavy that even the security had to help her load them in a taxi.
Might be an honest mistake, if the cashier would want to intentionally steal your stuff, he/she will not put it in the bag of the next customer.... did you see him/her trying to hide your item?
Next time, do the packing for yourself....
You forgot to take your one little item in some supermarket somewhere and you start calling them thieves?
thief? how much did the cashier steal from you?
Homeaway, what you say is partly true, I would not go so far to say that most are thiefs.
They are under pressure to finish customers asap.
What I do is put the block which says "Next Customer or closed" between the things of the person ahead of me and them put it after my stuff and do not let the cashier process my stuff till the stuff of the customer ahead is bagged and off the counter. This prevents wrong items going either way.
I have not experienced stuff getting in my stuff but found stuff missing but billed. Hence the above.
IT MAY HAPPEN...BUT I NOTICED THAT THE LADIIES WHO IS SITING NEAR VEGITABLE SECTION ARE PUTTING DIFFERENT CODE FOR DIFFERENT ITEMS.MISTAKES MAY HAPPEN BUT WE SHOULD SEE WHILE WEIGHING ITEMS.
thankyou homeaway.. for the shopping tip. please all be reminded that, 'no one can fool you unless you allow to'!.so be vigilant always in your life.
why do you even allow them to pack your things?
why you blaim people?
if your are negligent and not vigilant and not responsable to do shopping??????????????????(stupid)
never possible... then what are you doing at the counter when cashier making bills and the other guy(helper) bagging the billed items?? You are the person paying the bills and It's completely your responsibility and no one responsible for this mistake.
True somehow....
the onus is on the customer completely to ensure there's no mistakes; the staff are working but we the customer are doing absolutely nothing; so we can at least watch while they tally and pack your stuff; and check your bill before you leave the store (however please do this last thing by the side without keeping the person behind waiting while you go through your bill lol)..cashiering is a thankless job so we should all help them and in the process help ourselves:-)
Thankyou for the warning. I'll be more vigilant from now on.
Would you please scale it down to the reasonable , please ?
