I am working in QATAR since last 8 years and I change my visa before one year. Now my company terminate me. So I want know that can I go labour court for NOC or Release letter because I change my Visa. There is any Law for local hire Employer.
Labour court and Human Rights are just names here. If your employer has finally decided not to give you NOC you better start a job search in another country rather than wasting your time here in the hope of getting help from these bodies.
NB:If I was you, I would try contacting the Gulf Cooperation Council Employment Tribunal and fight through them. Dunno if this really exists...(rolling eyes)?
Unfortunately, you wont get anywhere without the NOC mate. Ive heard that if your company management is under Egyptians, Lebanese or Indians (from Kerala state), its very unlikely that youll be issued a NOC under any circumstances.
This is a very bad law, against human rights. Qatar is a Muslim country but the law works againts Islam!
NOC is the sole discretion of your present employer. It's better to ask them politely and explain your situation. If they refused then so be it. When a door closes a new window opens.
