new Philippine passport

By last remnant

After the trouble of lining up, applying for the new machine readable Philippine passport, and waiting for another 2 months or so for its release the Overseas worker's dilemma is still not over....

At a foreign airport, going through the normal pre-departure drill, the passport's cover suddenly let loose like a grade 1 student's amateurish school project put together and pasted by glue.

Not in any way a small issue...This seemingly “upgraded” passports will not just put us travelers in great risk of losing on possible opportunities but will certainly throw us in the worst of situations: held in between countries or not being able to travel at all. (No Dear you were not racially discriminated but your passport just gave up on you and has suddenly disintegrated).

The corruption virus is now airborne and is no longer contained in our 7107 island...It has reached foreign shores through OFW Juan Dela Cruz (the Philippines biggest export)...He has been given an armour that is not just rusty but decaying and only plastered together by red tape.

I have noticed the same LR...the new passports indeed have very poor quality. Needless to say, I smell a scam again behind their production:(

I agree with Choithram. So what is your problem now, you have lots of left and right talks and nothing at all.

Be straight forward.

I dont think you are addressing your dilemma by bashing your own government agency's inefficiency here in QL.

If you think you are smarter than those who produce that new passport of yours, you could have written a formal complaint to your embassy here in Qatar and not dragging most of your dirt out in this public domain, what are we supposed to do with this piece of crap of literature that you perceived to have written eloquently? You are just humiliating your fellow kabayans in my opinion, I hope not all Philippinos try to talk smart like you in this forum
