Traffic!

Guys, Where is the best location in Doha to live in terms of less traffic, nearby and close to whatever shops or services, in your opinions?

That's where I'm living and traffic was fine until schools went back, but now gridlocked in the mornings. Not sure whether a lot of traffic coming across because of roadworks on Salwa Road but can take 20mins to get through the main set of traffic lights on Al Waab Street near Aspire Park, but then maybe if people didn't queue jump and use the correct lanes if might be better !!!

Area with less taffic? It won't happen. With the number of cars and population increasing expect the worst. I knew one country in the Far Est with minimal traffic congestion if there is due to good urban planning and regulation of car ownership.

Depends on where you have to get to for work or take your children to school. You may find a quiet area to live but then have a bad commute morning and afternoon.
