When applying for a family visa, can my daughter attend a school in Doha?

Hi
I'm a female teacher employed at a private school. I want to apply for my family's visa and have just received my ID card and have all the relevant documents. However, if I'm not mistaken the application also requests 6 months bank statements which I don't have as I have been unable to open a bank account until now. The problem is that my school has said that my daughter cannot attend school until she has her residency. Is this true? If so it means she may be out of school for 6 months! The school are saying that the SEC won't allow it, but I'm wondering if there is any way around this problem? My daughter must go to school, it is not possible for her to stay at home for 6 months. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem? Please help if you can, need all the advice I can get! Thank you.

Majority of the schools will not accept as the SEC is very strict about it.

tb, That option should be checked first as there are strict rules now a days. Schools might not take risk on this issue.

shafy, OP doesn't have the bank statement required for applying family visa and that is why tb suggested to bring her daughter on visit.

yup it's like this, you can bring your daughter in family visa and apply for RP, you are the one who gonna be sponsor for her so you can apply without any problems, once you got the RP for your daughter can join to the school!

Schools will not give admission to your daughter without a Residence Permit. That is the law and it will not be changed.
