CHILDREN'S VISA AND SCHOOL

HI
I'm a female teacher employed at a private school. I've just received my ID card and want to apply for a family visa. However my school has told me that my daughter cannot attend school until she has residency. Is this true? The problem is that I still need to collect 6 months bank statements before I can apply as I didn't have a bank account until I got my ID card. The school are saying that the SEC won't allow my daughter to attend. However she can't stay at home for 6 months, she will miss out on a lot of work! Is there any way I can get round this problem? Please help as I'm really beginning to panic now! Thank you.

just get a letter from the school stated your employment and salary certificate...then you can open a bank account. Bring your original passport or copy (stamped by school management).

Forget the websites. Let the school messenger, or even better do it yourself, take the papers and go to the main immigration office. Ask to meet higher officers if you faced obstacles, they are very helpful.

Hi Translator

Thanks for the response. I visited the Hukoomi Qatar e-Government website and found the information on there. They have an application form to apply for the family visa and it states what documents are required. One is that they want 6 months bank statements, however if they can do it with just a letter then that would be better for me, but I'm not sure if they would. I'll just have to find out somehow.

This 6 month bank statement is not true. Take a letter from the school which shows your pay, what else the bank statement will show?

Hi LOVE U ALLAH

Could I please ask what it is you do? Is the e-mail address you have given supposed to be lower case letters? What exactly can you do?

Thanks

It is mandatory for all school to accept only students with resident permit in Doha as the student's records are being forwarded to SEC. Furthermore, you need to submit the vaccination card of your child during registration, and for you to be able to get a vaccination card from HMC or private hospital, they will need your Child's RP.

Most schools accept late enrollees, as far as i know. I remember my daughter's class to be only 1 section, and later became 3 after 4 months of schooling.

Thanks for the reply but my daughter is supposed to attend the same school as me but she is in primary while i'm teaching the secondary. The school is well aware that the visa is in process. I don't understand what the problem is really.
