Revision of Consular Fees

Government of India have decided to revise the passport and related services fees charged from Indian nationals living both in India and abroad with effect from 1st October 2012. The prevailing fee structure was introduced in March 2002 and this is the first revision in the last over ten years.
2. The fee revision has been necessitated due to the considerable increase in various costs, including those relating to establishment, capital expenditure, procurement of equipments, payment to India Posts, printing of passport booklets, IT expenses and contractual payment to various Service Providers.
3. The revised fee structure for passport and related services w.e.f 1.10.2012 will be as follows:

6. For issue of passport or reissue of Passport containing 36 pages for minors below eighteen years of age with validity of five years or till the minor attains the age of eighteen years, whichever is earlier under the Tatkal Scheme 734.00

8. Replacement of passport of 36 pages having validity of ten years for changes in personal particulars 274.00

9. Replacement of passport of 36 pages having validity of ten years for changes in personal particulars under the Tatkal Scheme 824.00
