Hello Mates,

Hope all is well.

I have Land Rover LR 2.

I just came back from my one month holidays.

My car was just in standby condition for one month. I have only remote control key for my car. I tried to open it but it is not working.

Please suggest my how can I enter into my car? Everything was ok before I leave.

Thanks.

Thanks Smoke...nope now its perfectly working...it was just the key fob battery dead cuz of one month sleep..as per some forum discussions, it automatically charges when we use it while driving.

Thanks again. ((:

Habibi, the manual key should be inside the remove, look for a small latch, it is usually hidden/tucked inside the remote.

If car battery is already dead, even the remote will not function. always remove positive side of car battery when you can't use it for long time.

You see, brit, he can't. That's weird. Did you lose the key or is this how the British treat you when you buy a British car?

It should have a key..check behind the remote..usually they are concealed in it.

Using an phone charger u can charge your old battery .

Keep plus in plus podition .Minus in minus position hold for 15 minutes .until the battery warms. it will work. keep the voltage same inorder to avoid discharge.

I have tryied this before..

I dont have the key which I can use manually. I have just the remote control one which I have to insert inside the car and have to press start button to ignite. :(

This is typical British! I also have a remote, but it is attached to the key. If the remote fails I can still open the car with the key.
