Best car to buy around QR 100K?

I get an interest free car loan of QR 100K from company and can buy brand new or slightly used but good condition car.

Kindly recommend me a good car for my small family of 3. I am flexible with SUV or a Saloon and resale of car is not my concern. I prefer a car that I will enjoy driving everyday at a reasonable maintenance cost. I am looking for slightly upscale cars.

Looking forward to hear your views and yes, please no Toyotas! :)

Thanks

Thank you guys really appreciate your input.

However, if its an SUV then I dont want the ones with 3rd row. (I was quite interested in a 2nd hand VW Tourag 2010 but couldnt reach a bargain price) I also like Nissan Murano 2010+.

Frankly, I am thinking of moving away from Japanese & American cars. More into European. One incentive is that there are alot of used ones available here with good bargain prices. But the question is which one would be the most reliable wiht minimum maintenance?

PS. I am also waiting till 2013 Passat CC is here, which I believe starts from QR 90K

You said no Toyota. Then for 100k- Try to visit ford showroom or Dodge- They have some good nice family mini SUV around that price range. Chevy also have some good small SUV like the transverse.

Pajero IMO is kinda boring to look at but at least they are very reliable from what I heard.

Have a good & safe luck. i have nissan pf 2004, but with this much capital u can manage GMC Envoy, Parado or Nissan Pathfinder 2007+....

If u looking for a family car with 7 seats, then check for the GMC or Toyota privia.

safety features, engine performance, body, fuel economy are to keep in mind.
