anybody know estimated salary in PHCC as PATIENT FIRST SUPPORT STAFF AND ASSISTANCE (something like a receptionist)?
how many PHCC do we have here in Qatar?
The answers to your questions to the best of my knowledge are as below
1) The health centers are mostly in and around Doha and a few of them are bit further like 1 hour drive from Doha
2) yes you will every time you want to go outside of Qatar
3) It varies but is around 30 to 35k QR
4) Schooling is costly roughly around 50-60k for A levels (same as uk) in fees and there are add on, but bigger challenge is to find a place in a good school even in nursery
5) 600 QR per month is okay but depends obviously how much you use it
6) Internet is generally slow a 2MB connection will cost around 330 QR per month for home, mobile is more pricy. Skype is allowed
7) Hiring a maid is fairly straight forward if you use an agency, it will cost 11000 QR for getting her to Qatar and then the monthly salary ranging from 800 to 1500 QR depending on her nationality. Everything else including food has to be provided by you
8) I guess it is 40hr/week with no protected time for learning or anything else like in the UK
9) Accommodation is generally okay that is offered by health sector
10) It varies based on your family size but I would say around 3000 UK sterling including a rented car, food etc
Doha is costly make no mistake, some items are more pricy than in the UK and the quality is not the same, also there is not much to do in your spare time in summer as it is not Dubai.
Anyway I hope you find the info useful and all the best in future
Bluemountain. What's the big deal with wrong spelling? Nothing will happen. Not unless you let the patient takes the wrong medicine that's harmful to him/her.
If you spell wrong of medicine name
what is going to be happen to your patient?
That is all about my idea.
Typical Aussie attitude
You've been shortlisted...great!
Land the job first, get the offer letter then you will know.
Sometimes, planning way too ahead would be far disappointing.
Just make good at the interview. And all the needed information will follow as soon as you arrived here. If not just search it here. There were lots of post earlier regarding the matter.
Most of the Doctors here in Qatar are like this guy. Let's assume that they didn't use english language in school. Anyway, he posted here to ask something and not to be judged..... friend, i have a friend (doctor) and he is getting total package of 35,000.00 QAR (9,600USD). Eid Mubarak!!!
It is hinglish happy !!!
