Salary vs Living in Doha

Hi all,

Im a UK Graduate who has been offered a civil engineering job in Doha with a salary of QR.12,000 a month. As far as I can tell this has to cover everything except health care.

Is this going to be enough to live with some degree of comfort out there?

Also what are rough rental costs, living costs, car hire etc?

Many Thanks

S

It is your choice

If you want to live as KIWI standard

That is not our standard

If you will stay as single you can manage that salary. But since you're a brit your lifestyle needs more than that. Never think of having your family here if your salary is just like that.

if you follow bluemountain advise, definitely you lose because most of the price of his advise are not the actual cost.

a room with a 2 bedroom will cost only around 4k to 5k.

water and electricity including internet cost 300-500 riyals.

foods definitely depend on you on how you eat.

and most of all, you are not buying mobile phones every month.

why rent a car worth 2500 per month wherein a nissan tiida 1.8 cost only 1500 per month thru bank loan.
