Eid

Hello my wife and I (American 28/31) are looking to get out today and see what is going on with the Eid holiday. We saw the schedule of events but since this is our first time we aren't sure what all of it means. We are also looking to see if there are any other couples or maybe singles (any race or age but we speak english only) who would like company and sight see and enjoy the holiday as well. We are interested in getting out around midday or are open to suggestions.. Any advice would also be appreciated. We would like to go somewhere that has many things to do at once since we will be traveling by taxi so that we don't have to hop from place to place.. Thank you!

Im not use to go out alone and im scared to go out alone..im almost 3 weeks hereand i know how to go to souk...my sense of direction is bad...first week i tried to bring my officemate home in mansoura..i get lost n reach wakra...get soooo scared..thanks God i reach home safe...
Check out the fireworks in Katara tonight, they start at 8.30 and there are plenty of other things to see like the exhibitions and places to eat also very interesting to see the mixture of people there. I went yesterday and the fireworks were pretty good :)
