it's very difficult to live with 3000Qr....but if u really live a low life....u can save something...whcih u will not save in your country.

But if you got a family don't even think about it.

come on man... what type of question is this ? there are people surviving with just 500 QAR per month and there are people who earns 50000 QAR per month and still they feel their salary is not enough.

if you are getting accommodation and transportation from your office then your minimum expenditure comes as follows:

(1) Basic food (i am saying it is BASIC only !) - QAR 400/ month if you are cooking at your room and QAR 700 if you are going to any economy Indian restaurant.

(2) Telephone QAR 200 / month (if you are not the crazy caller)

(3) Internet QAR 100/ month.

(4) Pocket money - QAR 250/ month (if you are non-alcoholic)

(5) Private items like soap, shampoo, perfume etc - QAR 150/ month.

so your BASIC expenditure will be 700+200+100+250+150 = QAR 1400/ month.

rest up to you.

I think you did not come to Doha yet...and you would have recruited directly by them in India or Sri Lanka. They use the strategy of not recruiting them directly from Qatar...bcz when u multiply 3,000 x you own currency it will big. But here it is a small money.

However, it all depending on your designation.
