what is your advice for BMW 2004 735iL?

I'm really need your help and recommendations in regard buying BMW 2004 735il
the car is very clean comparing with others from the same series 7
What is The cons for this type of car?
i love this car,but some friends recommend not to have it as it is old now and i will have many visits to alfardan and paying not less than 5000QR in addition to maintenance costs and the problems begin in all over the car starting from computer systems, electricity..etc
I've been told even if you want to reinstall computer software will Cost you not less than 1800QR
Is package services apply by alfardan to 2004 as well.

Most european cars are designed for european conditions. This region is extremely hot, dusty and dry, which creates issues with the electronics. This reduces the overall mechanical and electronics life... The other major issue here is that most service centres have unqualified and untrained mechanics ... they can not troubleshoot nor repair... in the end u will pay heavily ... almost replacing every part in this car... Go for a Japanese or Korean. Regards
If you are prepared to get stalled on the road for some reason with this car and has the patience to wait for the car to be repaired, then get this car. As what I have said from my previous answer, it will take a long time for the repairs to finish. And due to its age, expect major repairs and maintenance that comes with it. Make sure you have a spare car to use whenever this happens. (Based on my experience with BENZ and BMW cars)

If you are going to use this car as your primary car, then I can say that it will spend much of the time in the garage more than the time you are able to use it. Unavailability of parts is the main concern. The parts has to be ordered elsewhere.
But if you are going yo use it as a secondary car, well this is a very nice car worth keeping.
Your freinds are correct, take their advice.
