Today I received 2 email notifications that 2 QL users have sent me a private message. I clicked on the link and one was "ooops" the other one was "page not available". Then I went to my inbox through QL, no messages.
Now, what does THAT mean? hmmmm??????
May be QL PM has an undo option. After they sent you may be they clicked undo which obviously will delete the message from ur inbox but not from your email associated with QL.
It's no magic, it's all One's and Zero's. And due to quantum fluctuations they disappear or come again. The wave function only tells us how probable a One or a Zero is, but we can never say when it actually will be there.
if u know who sent the PMs to u and they are existing QLers then send them a PM "what do u want?! please resend the PM which u have already sent yesterday" or whatever. it might be technical problem
To me that means QL's auto spam filter set up for PMS is working alright. However the email notification to the user on a new message in his/her inbox on QL must fire after the pm has gone through the spam filtering process. Buggy QL as we all know.
