Traffic Fine
Hi,
I checked MOI few days ago and was supprised to see a QR 500/- and 01 point fine under my car plate on 21/10/2012. I checked with Madhina Khaliffa Traffic and they said it's overtaking. The area mentioned is Al Messilah at 07:30am. I have never being to this area and on this day(21/10/2012)at 07:40 am I was at ARAMEX office(Abu Hamour). I am driving in Qatar for the last 05 years never paid any fines as I am very carefull. Please advice me how to check if it is correct???? and how to prove my self???

place, time and violation type were 99% wrong only correct violation type is of speed/signals cameras coz there authorities have pictures in all others thy dont have any proof...
Paying is easier than proving you were not there in that place and time mentioned in your violation. It can happen to anyone. It happened to me once. I was fined 500 riyals for illegal off loading. I've been driving for the past 18 years and I got one violation only.
May be u over took vehicle of a royal family..as I heard that member of royal family and few locals can complain the traffic department if they see any such violations in road. They will just call the police and will tell what was the violation with your plate number and then kalas u have to pay it.
