well dip1111 the company should not make that a hassle. its a govt rule for their assessment, as far as i am concerned that should not stop the company from issuing NOC

Its 10000qr basic salary.. N they strictly look into other matters lyk ur job title, whether u r degree or diploma holder, etc.. Its tough gettin a family visa here :(

What emy007 say is right and should be considered official, but I know from good sources that they will be considering those who make 7,000 per month.

since december 2011 the minimum salary required to apply for family visa is 10000 Qr. and not 7000Qr., before december 2011 minimum salary was 7000 Qr. but nt any more, also ure position in ure ID card matters,

10000 Qr. to be transfered to ure bank account for 6 months.

Goodoldjoe, You should have the Tenancy contract in your name attested by the Municipality to apply for the visa and it is upto you to share or not to share after the visa is approved.

It is not QR 10,000 plus accommodation. Immigration does not depict your total income so as long as you make more than that, you should be good to go.

I've heard they are considering those who make less than 10,000 but more than 7,000, but they will also be looking at the position title.

Manuprab - Did you say seperate 10 K and seperate accomodation. Along stretches of Mansoora, Najma, Al hilal and the areas around Salwa have noticed three to four families sharing small and cramped single rooms and flats. Sometimes even bachelors have been noticed to having bigger rooms then the families out here

10000 should be deposited to ur account as salary every month..and once u have this for 6 mnths as bank statement you can apply for Family visa...but u need to have separate accomodation..with shared acco u will not get family visa...as alongwith your family visa papers ,the signed contract of accomodation has to be attached.

Interesting. If that is really the case then how do I see people not even receiving half of that figure with their wives and families out here or are there some other things required if you cannot come up with the magic figure of 10000.00

It's 10,000 QR plus accommodation but in reality depending on how much your wife spends it could be a lot more than that.
