What is the best bank here in Qatar to open for my savings account?

Hello all,

I have a plan to open a saving account. can u guide me how can i find best bank for me... and how can i open the account , I mean any other document like Company NOC? this is for personal, not for Salary transfer . may be in future I can transfer my salary to this same account? and what is the minimum balance i keep? My salary is below 5000QR, which way i have to think about bank before i open an account. I need ATM only. give me your valued information pleas

It is advicable to send your salary to your homeland after keeping enough for monthly expenses.

Since you are Indian, better to approach Doha Bank or Commercial Bank. Because, most of the staff will understand English unlike some other banks. If you can obtain letter from your company stating for Salary Transfer purpose, then minimum balance is not required in Doha Bank.
