Thank you Mado in Ezdan Mall

I would like to thank and congratulate Mado outlet in Ezdan Mall for doing such a good job; ignoring our family for the third time. Just now, at 11+ pm on a fine Friday night, while your patrons of the superior races were enjoying your hospitality, you told me and family (of the inferior Asian origin) that you're closing. A group of people of the more superior race came after us and you entertain them immediately! I understand now that we, the inferior races should only be the servants and workers in your outlets. We are not qualified to be your customer. Furthermore I should have explained this to my son when he asked why you guys entertained the people who came after us but not our family: "Son, we are the people of inferior race. We should not have stepped our foot there in the first place." Keep up the good work. May I suggest that you put a poster at the entrance to alert us that only people of certain ethnic origins will be entertained. Thank you.

Third time? You mean you faced similar mistreatment at the hands of the restaurant's staffers before as well? That's awful but had I been in your shoes I would never wanna go back to a place that obviously shows such discrimination. Anyways thanks for the heads up. Perhaps others can learn from your experience and avoid any establishments that condones and practices discrimination and rudeness.

I noticed this kind of ethnic based discrimination in Qatar especially by the sales / retail assistants, waiter/waitress and of those in similar positions. Most of the times, they themselves are not from those Arabic or European descents but they treat other people of other non-Arabic / non-Westerner as if they're of lower class races and give them the look of 'you can't afford this'. When will those people learn that you should treat and respect everyone equally irregardless of ethnicity! Everyone's paying the same price, thus should be treated indiscriminately!
