4x4 Rental for off-road driving

I intend to drive off-road to a beach at Messaied - no dune bashing though - and would like to know if any car rental here allows that. I have already contacted a couple (one major local and the other a leading multi-national brand) and both stated that their terms and conditions do not allow that.

I have previously rented in Oman explicitly for off-road driving and that wasn't a problem there, so I thought there should be SUVs for hire for off road driving here as well.

If any of you know of a car rental that do allow off road driving, please do let me know.

here in Qatar no body is allowing to take their vehicle for off-shore driving,(but every bodyTaking 4x4 for offshore Driving).actually their Insurance policy is not llowing to Drive in offshore.it means if some thing happened from the Desert,then you have to Bear the charges,that's it.and if you have enough confident then you may proceed ,no need tell them that where and why you are taking the car.but take care of the vehicle as your own vehicle...
