If you've been to Caribou in The Greens, Dubai, then you'll know what I mean. The Caribou there is warm, welcoming and very friendly with everything you need.
In Caribou Dubai the sandiches, paninis & salads are all fresh, look good & taste great.
Salwa Road on the other hand...
You walk in to be greeted by a wall of stale cigarette smell (i'm a smoker but this stinks), like those smoking rooms you find at airports.
The sandwiches are low quality junk, worse than sandwiches you find in UK petrol stations, (just from the look of them) let alone the taste. Despite there being a panini machine, they don't sell paninis.
Thier board lists the usual extensive list of coffees, teas etc. On order however, on everything we asked, "sorry sir we don't have". To date they are awaiting a shipment from America to arrive. No green tea, no peppermint, no soya, no nothing apart from Earl Grey or Americano. Ok understandable but surely they could get hold of green tea bags or soya milk etc locally??!
The lovely large glass panels are fantastic for slouching in the comfy seats (they are in fact) & looking out onto the world...or here the Salwa main road & car park.
Good points: free internet like all Caribous. Seriously, do coffee shops not understand that people will spend longer if you give them free internet?!!!
Maybe third time lucky Caribou Doha. Would be nice to have a proper Caribou like those already in existance elsewhere in the world.
