I will never forget the worst experience I had in a restaurant ever and this was it. My mother in law was visiting us in Doha and so I decided to take her to this place. After having sat down, we were rudely informed by a waiter that all seats were reserved although there had been no reservation cards on the tables.
I was not about to leave the table until I was served, so the waiter came again saying that the kitchen had stopped serving beverages(?!) although I could still see waiters shuffling to and fro with orders for other guests. So in the end they resorted to ignoring us totally after which I decided to leave and never come back.
It's really a pity that this terrible place is the only restaurant along the corniche along with the sandwich shack near the Sheraton. In other countries the corniche is usually alive with many mobile kitchens which serve everything from Shawirma to Ice cream. Why this is so is a mystery to me.
