Loan help needed - expat working for international company based abroad

Hi guys,

Need some advice on applying for a personal/vehicle loan.

I have been applying for a loan to finance a vehicle purchase but the problem lies in the fact that I work for a company based abroad. QNB have rejected my loan application saying the company is not recognised on their approval list.

Is there any other way around this? Surely there are some expats out there working for companies not based in Qatar who managed to get around this issue?

Who is your sponsor. Since your company is based abroad, i presume you are under the sub-agent. Check with your sponsor the bank they are tied up with. The salary tranfer is mandatory from your sponsor in qatar to avail loan.

Try in Doha Bank... Every bank isn't same...

go for second hand vehicle rather then to go for new one if you can stay away from taking loan

Ask your company which bank they are using... Then transfer your salary to them.. Like what I did.. I'm banking with QNB before and I cannot get a loan from them even my salary is qualified..
