If you need any guidance on how to go about filing a complaint in the Labor Office, feel free to call me at 44810951 tomorrow 6 PM onward. I have gone through the experience.

The Labor Office will help you out even if you are a foreign worker. In fact when you go there, you will be seeing mostly foreigners with their complaints against their employers. As for the 2-week waiting period, I don't think this is correct. Once the Labor Office orders your employer to settle your dues, it will be compelled to finalize your settlement quickly and send you back immediately.

@ jenojaan, is the labor department willing to help a foreign worker like me complain against my employer? a friend of mine told me that there is a 2-week grace period after the expiration of the contract. do I really have to wait for 2 weeks before they will buy me ticket? I want to go home as soon as my contract is finished.

@ jenojaan, I had submitted my advance notice informing them that I will not renew my contract anymore last November 8.
