No more unattended car services at Woqod
Service stations of Woqod are no more allowing customers seeking a car wash to leave their vehicles at their premises and take them back later after the service at their convenience.
Customers are now being asked to wait at the spot until the service is over. The waiting could go up to two to three hours during peak hours.
Some cars left by their owners for washing were stolen from different service stations in Doha recently forcing the company to change the system, it has been learnt.
Thoughts?

petrol stations and service centers are very less in qatar..the petrol stations are very congested also..car washing is very difficult..
I washed my Tiida 2 days ago inside-out :O)
I left my car, went to KFC, had my lunch and when I came back after 40 min it wasn't ready yet!
I think the useful solution is to build Lulu in every petrol station, or service center, so you can spent your time there :O)
I guess here it can be thought of installing automatic car wash of the types as in Abu Dhabi wherein you dont have to leave the car. Be in the queue, get it washed, dried and you are done with and not much of waiting time too as it is very quick.
Thelonius: The answer is simple. The government should build "washeterias" at strategic points where residents can go and wash their cars themselves.

Let them go to Teyseer. They have very good service and also security for cars that are left there for services.
@britexpat, In the dusty conditions here, you need to jack wash (wash the undercarriage) your car, preferably every 6 months. Can't do that at home, I'm afraid :)
Why not wash it yourself ?
Car services like car wash should increase in qatar..3 hours waiting and wasted is not worth..life is too short and time is gold.
