Hi!

I am going to buy a 2009 Honda pilot. It has done 44000 km. The car is very clean from inside and outside.

Ive even got it checked through CarMaxx. Its in reaally good condition. Only tyres need replacement.

The guy is asking 80,000 QR for it. Please advise is it worth this amount? And also what will be its resale after 1 year?

It's the big honda and Volvo garage just at tV round about past the star of India. I'm not sure about value the garage told me the 3 years old with 60k mileage I might get 85-90 back. So five years old with 44k you have to ask yourself is this the same? 2 years older but less miles? I think 70-75 is fair, but hey it tough to really know.

OdBoy ! thanks for your answer... so it is rightly priced at QR 80000 for a mileage of 44000 KM ? Will I be able sell it easily after one year at a good price? If I maintain its good condition what depreciation do you foresee?

The Honda garage do a rental lease plan for the pilot. I bought one two years ago. 27k down, 2k a month for 36 months then 60k to buy it at the end of three years. You can give it back anytime (3 months penalty in first year only - no penalty after 1st year) they told me that if I sold it after three years I should get 90k, it has to have done less than 60kilometers over three years. So considering this you price seems about right as it low mileage and a few years older. 70-75k? I guess it's real value is what you want to pay. In terms of a recommendation, we are very pleased with it. Hope this helps!
