Which is the Best Bank in Doha?

Hi Everyone,

I am living in Kuwait and will be moving to Doha, Qatar soon. Qatarliving has been very informative. Thanks for all the advices and help.

I need info regarding which is the best bank in Qatar ? I have read 2 threads on same topic but they are old therefore wanted to ask again. I checked websites of QNB , CBQ and they also have options of opening account before arrival... If I open online and transfer funds from here, do they charge for incoming funds?

It is question which can be answered by only those who have had an account in each bank in Qatar as then only one could make a comparison. Most expatriate workers have an account usually in one bank and that is the bank in which their company also has an account. This is due to the ease of transfer of salaries. As such I have an account at Commercial Bank and find their service quite satisfactory. Definitely, there must be other banks in Qatar which offer equally good if not better service than my bank, but it is for you to come here, check and decide for yourself.
