Man jailed for stealing shoes
A Criminal Court has sentenced an Asian to six months in jail for stealing shoes of worshippers from a mosque and ordered him to be deported after serving jail term.
The person used to go to a famous mosque in the markets area to steal the shoes. While they were busy in late night prayer (Isha) the convict ran away with their shoes.
The man was identified by the footage of CCTV camera installed in front of the mosque.
The police nabbed him while he was waiting for the worshippers to go to prayer.
The convict denied the charge and did not appear in the court. The court issued the verdict in absentia. Source
