Return Ticket to Country of Origin

Any advice regarding this situation.
My brother is hired by intertec by direct application in doha, 2months later after he started the work, it is discovered upon medical commision that he is not fit to work and advise to send him home.
Question:
1.) Is the company's responsibility to provided air ticket ?

Thank you for your answer, i also read that in article 57 of qatar labor law. he came here under sponsorship of other company and that company is friend of mine. So in the end, i will be the one who will shoulder the ticket for my brother.
As far as I understand it the Labor Law says that the company must return to the worker to where they brought him from. If they flew him to Qatar the job, they need to repatriate him. If your brother applied from directly in the country, they are not obliged to pay anything.
If he came to Doha and applied for the job after arriving, how did he come here - on visit visa or did he transfer from another work visa? If he transferred from another work visa then the obligation is on the original sponsor who provided the first ticket.

Thank you for your answer. One more thing, last night i call the manager and the HR of the intertec company but they are resisting not to bear the ticket for my brother and they want my brother to leave their companies accommodation and threatening us to surrender him to the CID or POLICE. but at the end of our agreement due keep on saying to them that they must bear the ticket , the HR said to me that they will discuss this one in their management.
Question: What if they still insist not to bear the ticket, what should we do?
Normally companies do bear the cost under humanitarian grounds. Not bound by the law as the contract not exist until medical fitness test is passed. The visa issued prior to entry to Qatar is called "Work Visit" entry permit. Also termination from employment during probation comes without repatriation benefit.

Just want to share with you, I have a staff before which has the same situation like your brother. As a Human Resources, we send the staff to his home country at company cost. Its not your brother's fault. For more information you can refer to Qatar Labour Law.
