But what about the locals who beep?

Were they stopped by their parents? And they didn't go to another country, the live here.

I'd love to know your opinion on why people flash their lights. Is it the same reason?

Besides all this , Who love to honk horn / beep are those who were stopped by their parents from making noise in their chilhood , so when they grow up & go to a foreign country , away from their papa / mama they feel the freedom and find satisfaction in doing so ....

I beep everyone when I drive. Why put a horn in a car if you don't use it? That's my motto.

It's a wife's duty to stress her husband to make him a bad driver.

The wives of Qatar do a good job with this, which is why the men are bad drivers and make so many accidents.

Yasir, Good you forgave him ...... he might be a married gentleman ..... they live under huge stress .... so make mistakes on the road 50 % of the times due to that ....

Drowsy drivers don't notice flashing. Only loud, long beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeps!!!

@MM: but you know one thing I had an experience yesterday with one stupid guy but he was not local when I took a right turn from the round about near teyseer petrol pump towards ezdan 3 one vehicle was in front of me I horned him a lot he was in the wrong lane then I go off road any ways nothing happened Alhamdulillah but I got angry & I was thinking why I didn't hit his vehicle if I hit his vehicle & called the Police he will be in a big trouble for sure...

Yasir, Flash lights can't but sounds of the horn would reach to us in the 'kabar' { grave } ....

Good thing is no body will be disturbed including Galinda ........ { after she or anybody sleeps forever }.

I like Yasir's idea of not letting them to come past but to race them! A little adrenalin rush on the way home from Carrefour!!

Yasir , We need to sit with them over a cup of black-tea to understand them .......

Galinda , That 's the only way to communicate a drowsy driver in the front ......

Actually this facilitates everybody to drive smoothly behind that kind fellow ......

@Galinda: this is also fun I used to compete with those guys who flashes behind me :D life will never be perfect in any where that's called life enjoy as much as u can before you sleep forever...

They flash if you go slower than them... they flash if you go same speed as them... they flash if you go faster than them.

Basically they flash if you drive your car on the road.

@MM: some times they flash if you are driving faster than those guys :D

If you are 100% sure the signal was yellow when you past the traffic light then you should not get a fine. If you did you can go to the traffic department and see the video.

The cameras start flashing within 2 - 3 seconds after the signal goes red.

Why would locals flash lights on cars at signals to freak them out? That seems mean.

I hope not but worried because flash came on

dont worry bro it might be sum other car who got the flash or most probably sum guy fooling around with u coz ive seen it by myself sum locals flasing light on cars while crossing signals so tht thy can freak u out n have sum fun....since ure so sure about the situation then u better calm down n check tomorrow the MOI website to make sure ure good coz the faults will come up after 24 hours on the website......hope this would be enough to relax ur nerves.......cheers

yes it just happened today so i will be sweating for a few days which i think it takes to come up. was hoping someone could give me some info to calm me down
