if its hard for you to explain to the superiors better write one letter in Arabic and approach the concern person in traffic Dept in some cases they remove the fine but just go there and your violation ill be cleared removed if not i will help you in this situation....

Go to the new traffic department in madinat khalifa (opposite the old one) as soon as you grt in you'll a round table with 2 - 4 officers handing numbers. Tell then you came here for an offense dispute and will direct you to the right people, the offense dispute section is on the far right but make sure you get your number first

traffic department removes that fine, happened to me, cameras take pictures they are suppose to double check it and remove the fine.

I hope you can escape the ticket. The cameras at the junction will have a video of everything, so if you are telling the truth they can check.

I would never go through a red light even if there is an ambulance coming, just drive your car as far as you can to the side to make way.

And again... giving way to ambulance is an obligation not a choice.. so everyone should give way regardless how you feel about it... cause you can be fined more than 6k for refusal to yield.. at the same time using ambulance to get ahead in traffic is not acceptable.. and when requested to give way you have to go sideways... not forward... so you are going to have a hard time proving you had no other choice.. but it may be worth a try...

@Williamz,If what ur telling us is genuine,Radar will say it all, it records and captures every dot within the scene and if its true don't panic Captain will delete or reduce your Fine..up to 75% i know someone who had same issue.. becoz u suppose to move sideways and not move forward just like @spiderman8 advised u,.

Hi William, Go to Traffic Dept, Try to meet the captain and explain to him about the situation. Also inform him to verify the same in CCTV Camera available in that Traffic signal. If what you say is true, they will surely clear the fine.

Does not sound right.. then everyone can claim the same.. u r not supposed to drive forward when giving way to ambulance.. or go on red.. you are supposed to go sideways
