Pets and Animals in Qatar

So now that this group is officially open, all I can say is..........where does one begin???? :)

There is a ton of information that will eventually make it to this page, but it won't be overnight.

I have a suggestion? I know I have to 'administer' the group (which I pretty much think means I get to kick trolls out if they decide to come waltzing in) but I really want this group to be about all of you and the animals. Actually, the idea of the 'Animal Forum' was first suggested by Poppy! So it's really thanks to her that we have all been brought together.

So my suggestion is that if any of you have any special skills to contribute, then please do. For example, Poppy is the 'Animal Welfare expert', Xena has alot of experience with training from what I gather.

Due to the fact that some of us haven't met, it's nice to know if people in the group have 'inside' knowledge on certain topics, like pet relocation, the vets and other things. That way, information is easier to gather and will certainly be more accurate.

So far, most of the people that have joined here have met me personally; so you know how much I love animals. One suggestion that came up during our last QAWS meet-up was to help the numerous dogs and cats (and rabbits, donkeys etc etc) that are looking for a loving home. I hope this group will help in spreading the word. Also if your pet has gone missing, this is the place you'll want to post a description (as well as QAWS obviously).
