Endless Questions

Hi everyone! I will be going to Qatar in about 2 weeks, and will be staying there for about 2 years. Im actually at a loss as to what to expect. It will be my first time to leave the Philippines for work reasons, and to be away from home for such a long period of time.

I know that most of the people in this group have gone through what I am going through right now. I was hoping you can enlighten me as to what to expect in a place like Qatar. Im also interested in knowing what i should bring with me since I have a very limited luggage allowance.

Im worried about missing the Philippines, specially the food! I was told that there are grocery stores that carry Philippine made food. Id like to know what things are available there so i dont have to bring them.

Workwise, im interested to know the work ethic in Qatar. I will be working for a design firm with an Italian principal.
