The Royal Canadian Mint is making a limited number of these pure gold coins. This is the world's biggest, purest and highest denomination coin.

It weighs 100 kilograms and is 99.999 percent pure gold, superseding previous gold purity peaks of 99.99 percent.
Measurements are 53 centimeters (21 inches) in diameter and over 3 cm (1.2 inches) thick.
While it has a C$1 million face value, the coin is worth more than twice that amount given the current gold price of $683.30 an ounce.
