Participants are seen at a community event organised by Pakistan Muslim Welfare League (PMWL) over the weekend to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day (August 14).

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz secretary general Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, who was the chief guest, spoke about strengthening democracy in Pakistan. Patron committee member Qazi Mohamed Asghar, senior vice president Inam-ur-Rahim Rahi and general secretary Fayyaz Mukhtar also spoke. Noor Hassan Bangash welcomed the audience and Feroz Khan Afridi compered. Members Abdul Hamid and Shabbir Bajwa presented bouquets to the chief guest.
