Pinoy in UAE Faces UAE Court for Molesting Woman with Learning Disability
A Filipino lifeguard and a Pakistani worker faced a United Arab Emirates (UAE) court on Sunday over charges that they molested a woman with a learning disability in December last year, the news site Khaleej Times reported Monday.
The Filipino, 35, and the Pakistani, 21, were accused of fondling in Palm Jumeirah a 25-year-old Indian student with "special needs," Khaleej Times said.
The report said an American psychiatrist told the prosecutor that the student was about to be 26 years but her mental age was that of an eight- to 10-year-old.
On the day of the incident, the 35-year-old Filipino reportedly followed the victim into the ladies room. As she was about to close the cubicle, the Filipino allegedly kissed and fondled her for about five minutes, the report said.
Minutes later, the Pakistani reportedly grabbed the victim's hands and fondled her, the report added.
The victim's mother said her daughter kept silent about what she experienced and only learned of the incident from a security guard, who saw the girl crying.
When confronted, the Filipino lifeguard reportedly admitted to touching the student in the restroom.
When police arrived, both the Filipino and Pakistani accused each other of molesting the girl, the report said.
According to the Criminal Evidence report, both the accused had semen stains on their clothes soon after the incidents. - VVP, GMA News
