Conchita Wurst, Eurovision winner, in Austria concert

Conchita Wurst the woman with a man's bread or the man with a woman's bo0obs (I am not sure) who won the Eurovision, made a big fuzz, and now she had her first public concret.

Persnoally I have no problems with any kind of people, and I believe that everyone is free on his own (as long as he/she doesn't disturb others freedoms)

But what do you think, regardless of her/his sexuality, does Conchita Wurst desreve to win this award?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bearded drag queen Conchita Wurst has given her first public concert since her Eurovision victory this month, performing in Vienna on Sunday.

She was greeted by thousands of fans, including gay couples. Many waved rainbow flags or wore fake beards.

Earlier, the Austrian was received by Chancellor Werner Faymann, who thanked Conchita for promoting tolerance.

However, the concert was criticised by the conservative People's Party, which is part of the coalition government.

Conchita, who is also known as Tom Neuwirth, said: "I am so humbled and happy that I could bring this victory back home.

"This was not just a victory for me alone, but for a whole community of people who believe in a progressive future."

I think what we are meant to believe is that there are men who are attracted to women, but decide to have relations with men instead. Because that's the simplest explanation, right?

"Grow up" I want to stay a child, non of your business

"Get a life" I already have one, and very happy with it

It's also non of your business for what I want to concentrate on, and not because it's above your limit of thinking we don't have to discuss it

One more thing, The Mods accepted to publish the thread, so after that it's your decision to choose, to read or not to read

Now you get a life !

At Eurovision the only thing more important than the song is the gimmick. Giant hamster wheel? Bearded lady? Trampolining DJs? Polish milk maids? Russian twins?

There are no objective ways to measure whether a song is 'the best' or not. But what we do know is that all of Europe voted for all the songs performed, and the most popular one was Conchita's. And if being the most popular performer makes you the winner, then yes, Conchita deserved to win.

Galinda ,,, Yes it always depends on the person

But even though it's not about MJ, God can only judge any person not us, because he created us, and he knows what is right and what is wrong!!

No one seemed to care that Michael Jackson used to play with little boys. It just depends on the person.

@maria issa : Regardless of your Sexiest comment

I asked "Does Conchita Wurst deserves to win this award"? we are talking about TALENT here :O)

The question wasn't "does gays/lesbians deserve to win any awards"? because as it seems they are human being still, and if you and I liked them or not they are here breathing the same air, and they deserve to live

Cheers!

Russia doesn't want to be in Europe (although it does want to be in Ukraine!). And Europe doesn't want Russia. Might be time for Russia to find some other states to align with, like Syria.

I think Putin is doing the right thing. If Russia doesn't have the same values as the Eurovision contest, or Europe in general, then probably the only option is to leave Europe, which has fundamentally different values to Russia.

yes Galinda we are Super bothered by this its against human nature, our president sentences the gay for life prison in Russia, and "it" won because it is a freak and Europeans like this kind of stuff ....really they have no morals or any dignity

Russia is so annoyed by Conchita winning that not only have they threatened to leave the competition to start a 'straight' Eurovision (a music competition full of singing, dancing, over the top production, outrageous gowns, lavish set design - all without gays?) they have also banned any fans of Conchita from celebrating her victory. Only in Russia!
