Al Rumailah Park in Qatar

Al Rumailah park is located opposite the Corniche .It is favorable for all people – families with kids, individuals who just want to take a walk or go rollerblading on the multipurpose track.

The absence of walls or a fence gives the park a pleasant sense of openness. This, along with the park’s unlimited treasures and strategic location make it one of the most popular parks in the country.

Food, not just snacks, is available in abundance in the form of restaurants such as Thai Smile dishing out affordably delectable Thai cuisine.

There is also an unused amphitheater and a row of little shops that sell traditional snacks.

Did you know, Al Rumailah park used to be called Al Bidda Park before. Have you been to this park yet?

Have been there couple of years back, about 6 years ago, and it's really a cool place to have a walk and just unwind. Looking at the photo though the pond seems to have not improved, I agree with knor and ravi - a bit of enhancement would be make it more attractive. Never been in that Thai yet - should probably try it one of these days, I like Thai foods so looking forward to try it with them :).

this needs more lighting. the pond needs to be light up & may be with some fish could make it a bit more colorful.

Last week we've been there...exactly on that THAI restaurant pictured. And I hope that pool will undergo on improvement to attract more visitors. maybe put some more lights and a dancing fountain will do.
