Resident Permit (RP) Renewal Through METRASH 2 SERVICES

I have registered my mobile with METRASH 2 (MOI mobile application) services and I am able to see all the services such as Exit Permit, Residency, Traffic etc... Now I want to renew my family Resident Permit(RP) through METRASH 2 services. Can anybody advice, how to do RP renewal through METRASH 2 services. After paying the required fees through the credit card, whether I will get any confirmation or document to my registered e-mail?
If RP renewal is done through METRASH 2 services, for RP stamping on passport and Qatar ID card collection, which passport and immigration office I need to go? Whether it is Madina Khalifa immigration office (OR) Q-Post office ? (OR) where to go for RP stamping and ID card collection.
Please explain this process in detailed manner if anybody knows.

How much time did it take between lodging the renewal request on Metrash2 and receiving the message asking you to collect the QID's from the immigration dept?
In addition, since RP sticker in Passport is no longer applicable, you can now choose whether to collect the ID personally or have it delivered through Q-Post at an additional cost of QR20 per ID. Fair enough to save your time. IDs will be delivered in approx 3 days, according to my colleague (may not be the same in other case).
I opted to collect personally thinking there is a special lane for Metrash2 customers. But I had to go through the same procedure with those who did not renew online (that is in Messiamer, I am not sure in Garafa if they have special lane).
Advantage & Disadvantage of Collecting the IDs personally.
Advantage:
1. I saved few minutes of not having to pay in the counter (we knew it will not take more time, so only few minutes saved).
2. I have saved a Total of QR40 for 2 IDs (Q-Post charge).
Disadvantage:
1. I wasted a lot of time processing it.
2. They have the opportunity to request more requirements, in my case, new photo for my daughter. Had I opted to have it delivered through Q-Post, it may not be required.
3. If you have no available recent photo, you will spend approx QR20-QR25.
In conclusion, it is better to have the ID delivered through Q-Post. In case collecting personally is inevitable, you need to go to the immigration office as EARLY (emphasis added) as possible.

At last I did my family resident permit (RP) renewal through Metrash2 mobile application. Following steps are to be followed for renewing the family resident permit.
Step 1: Register Metrash2 mobile application software in your smart phone mobile.
Step 2: In the “Metrash2 services”, select the service “Residency”.
Step 3: In Residency services, select “Personal Renewal”.
Step 4: Select the person’s QID that needs to be renewed.
Step 5: Select the number of years to be renewed for visa (you can select maximum of 3 years).
Step 6: Pay the required amount through the credit card.
Step 7: You will get SMS to your registered mobile saying that “Metrash2: QID : XXXXXX Your residency renewal request has been processed. Kindly refer back to the immigration department to receive the ID cards and the residency stickers.”
Step 8: Go directly to “General Directorate of Borders Passports and Expatriates Affairs” located in Mesaimeer or Gharafa.
Step 9: Collect your token at the counter and wait for your turn.
Step 10: Meet the officer in the counter and tell them you did the resident permit renewal through Metrash2 services (they will scan the bar code on the existing RP sticker and will confirm) and the officer will ask you to wait for two minutes for collecting the ID card.
Step 11: Collect your Passport with pasted RP sticker and Qatar ID card.
The process is finished.
Initially I suffered, as I do not know about this process.
Note: You can register your e-mail ID with Metrash2 services. After renewing the resident permit through Metrash2, I have not got any electronic copy from Metrash2 to my registered e-mail and the customer care of Metrash2 told me there is no need of processed electronic copy and I can proceed straight to immigration department for collecting ID & RP sticker.
In my case, before reaching immigration office, I took typed Arabic resident renewal application form and pasted the required photo and also carried sponsor ID copy. But the officer returned me the typed application form and not considered.
You need to go immigration department with the Passport that needs resident permit to be renewed and the Qatrar ID card.
Metrash2 can be installed on any latest smart phones.
